Reiki for Your Animal Companion Review & Giveaway - Ends 4/11

Hikari Natural Healing founder/owner Amy Pikalek is Master level certified in Reiki (2008): Usui Shiki Ryoho, also called the Usui System of Natural Healing, and certified in Animal Reiki from the Animal Reiki Source (2010). She is also received a certificate in animal aromatherapy (2011) from the International Certified Aroma Therapy Institute.

Reiki (pronounced Ray-key), the Japanese word for Universal Life Energy, comes from the Japanese words ''rei'' meaning spirit, and ''ki'' meaning energy. Reiki is one of the oldest and most powerful natural healing methods in existence today. It is based on the teachings of Dr. Mikao Usui and is passed down through the generations from Master to student.

If you’re wondering how Reiki can be beneficial for animals, here are just a few examples:

  • For a dog recovering from an injury, a series of daily treatments followed by weekly treatments can actually speed the healing process received by traditional veterinary care alone.
  • For a horse in full dressage training, regular weekly or every-other week Reiki treatments can ease any sore muscles and keep performance levels up.
  • For a cat nearing its end of life, a series of treatments can easy any pain and provide emotional and spiritual support to the process.

Healing reactions are very uncommon in Reiki. If they do occur, they are brief and typically occur with other signs of healing. If you do see a healing reaction, it is the body’s way of releasing imbalances; anything that comes up is for the good of the animal.

Review....

As everyone probably knows by now there are 3 feline members living in the household.  Mr. Danks is the oldest member at 14 years of age and starting to feel his "senior" years.  After contacting Amy about a session for Mr. Danks we proceeded with a 60 minute distant healing.

Yes, you can do a healing from a distance!

Everything is connected with the same universal energy force and when you influence one part of that force, everything connected is affected.  Amy can walk you through the procedure as you move through it if you desire.  She will also update you on what she has done and how the animal reacted to the healing.

^Mr. Danks^

Amy started the first session for 30 minutes scanning his seven chakras (main energy centers) and picked up which were lower then the others (energy wise).  She then went back to the chakras that needed a boost and provided support to them.  I did notice when she was working with Mr. Danks that he was "coughing" a bit but did seem to be okay with it and not in any pain.  After the session ended, Mr. Danks had a little romp with the other cats which he normally doesn't do much of.

Amy then suggested we break down the remaining 30 minute session into two 15 minute sessions to get the most out of his healing.  During the second session Amy states that the scan of his seven chakras were in stronger balance than before, only that the 3rd chakra (solar plexus), having to do with the digestive system on a physical level, was still a bit lower than the others. Then at the 3rd and final session, Amy spent the time smoothing out his energy and raising his overall energetic level.

Once all was over and done, you can tell that Mr. Danks was one very happy boy.  He has so much more energy and he is moving around without much pain from his "aging years".

I HIGHLY recommend Amy to everyone that has animals, whether they are aging, hurting or just in need for a boost of energy.
